White chocolate and condensed milk pie with cherries coulis

Hi again!

I know the title of this pie may sound a little bit oversweet but I promise it doesn't thanks to the cottage cheese. Both condensed milk and white chocolate are the perfect couple for a pie like this. So, take a bowl and a beater and go for it!

Super super easy

Ingredients:

  • 250 gr white chocolate
  • 250 gr condensed milk
  • 500 gr cottage cheese
  • 2 sachets of powder to prepare curd
  • 200 ml pastry cream
  • 2 sweet-meal biscuit wrappers

Ingredients  for the cherry coulispara el coulis de cerezas:

  • 500 gr cherries
  • 50 gr sugar
  • 1 lemon juice

Method:
  1. Grind the buiscuits and mix them with soft butter. Mix them  until forming a wet sand. Pour it all over the mould (it should be a detachable mould). Now, form a base with the palm and the fingertips. Once it's done, cover it with clingfilm and put it on the fridge.
  2. Pour the cream into a pot over low heat. Meanwhile, dissolve the white chocolate in the cream. Mix it well. Now, add the condensed milk. Stir all the ingredientes. It's time to add the cottage cheese. Stir well again. Turn the heat up, and add the curd. Take the mould off the fridge and pour the mixture all over it. Keep into the freezer for 12 hours.
Cuolis method:
  1. Wash up the cherries and remove the seeds. Put them on a frypan over a low heat together with the sugar and the lemon juice. Stir well once at a time. When the cherries are melt, remove the frypan from the heat. Grind the cherries, strain them and put them into the fridge.

After the 12 hours, take the pie off the fridge and let the pie stand for an hour. Then, the pie will be ready to serve with some coulis! Hope you have enjoyed it!
